This class is for those have never practiced Krav Maga. It introduces students to the basics of this fighting system (i.e. stance movement, basic striking, etc.). All new students (regardless of experience in other martial arts) must complete an Introduction class before partaking in the regularly scheduled classes. All Students are welcome to repeat the Introduction class regardless of level. These classes are held BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Be sure to mention any online deal when booking if you have purchased a voucher.

NOVICE: All students are encouraged to attend this class regardless of level. It covers all elements that make up the foundation of the Krav Maga system - stance, movement, strikes, defenses, aggressive response, basic self defense techniques, etc. Any student who has completed an Introduction class is welcome to attend the Novice.

INTERMEDIATE: This class is for students who are comfortable enough with all of the Novice level material to put several techniques together with an increased amount of stress added. New material will be introduced and the detailed review of old material will be very minimal. Students appropriate for this class will be privately invited by Strike First.

This class is a slightly faster paced version of the Novice class. More material may be covered in a single class, but the level of stress in each drill will be low enough that all beginners should be able to keep up.

SPARRING: Our Sparring class is open to all students regardless of level. Various styles of kickboxing are covered with a heavy focus on American Kickboxing and Muay Thai. The purpose of this class is to build confidence in hitting moving targets, learning how to be hit, and defend against an opponent who is attempting to hit you. The purchase of a Combat Set (headgear, shin guards, and boxing gloves) is mandatory to participate in this class. The cost of a combat set is $130. All gear purchased outside of Strike First must be approved prior to the start of class.

KIDS' CLASS: Boys and Girls ages 8 - 11 are welcome to sign up for our Kids' program. Our goal is to build confidence in children through discipline, respect, and self awareness. Knowing when it is appropriate to use the self defense techniques we teach is heavily emphasized in this class. First time students will need to come in 15 minutes early for a brief introduction session.

TEENS' CLASS: This is a co-ed class open to pre-teens and teens ages 12 - 16. Confidence in knowing how to physically defend yourself is vital to the mental and physical growth of those transitioning into young adulthood. We encourage all teens in our program to be responsible and positive figures in their communities. Introduction classes for Teens can be scheduled for the same time slots as adults.
